The Home of Zero & Low Emission Project Developers & EPCs
This is not your average Hydrogen event. Our focus is on the granular project, engineering and construction challenges in actually getting the next wave of facilities built. Rather than the more macroeconomic conversations (supply & demand metrics, building of an H2 economy, derivative use cases etc.) found at most conferences.
Our agenda reflects the core challenges currently being faced by developers and their partners. Whether going through FEED, on your way to an FID, or post-FID, breaking ground and starting to scale up construction. This unmissable 2-day event will provide all stakeholders with a comprehensive guide to: Partnership & Contracting Strategies, Site Selection & Infrastructure Development, Project Design & Execution and Workforce Development.
Attracting attendees from across the full project ecosystem including: Project Developers (O&G, Fertiliser, Utilities, Alternative Fuels, Renewables, Private Finance), EPCs, Licensors, OEMs, Midstream Operators, Legislators and Solution & Service providers. There is no better place to meet your peers, forge new relationships and unlock your pathway to project excellence.
Key Themes
1
Project & Market Outlook
The bankability of projects on the Gulf Coast is intrinsically linked to the burgeoning market for zero and low emissions Hydrogen and it's derivatives. With the ability of producers to secure long term offtake agreements a crucial step ahead of taking a Final Investment Decision (FID). Join us for a definitive review and analysis of: the local and global supply & demand outlook, how recent incentivisation and stimulus packages have impacted the project landscape, and the latest developments on the Gulf Coast.
2
Site Selection & Infrastructure Assessment
With a comprehensive list of resource, connectivity, infrastructure and community requirements required for zero & low emission projects, competition for the best sites on the Gulf Coast is heating up. To help you balance due diligence and expediency we will provide you with a toolkit of how to identify, assess and secure locations in a timely and cost-effective manner. Alongside a deep dive into: the latest infrastructure updates, how the region can meet the anticipated 2030 demand and the current permitting landscape for new and existing infrastructure requirements.
3
Partnership & Contracting Strategies
The new wave of project development on the Gulf Coast requires developers to navigate unprecedented demands on workforce, a need to scale new technologies and inflationary pressures on financing and materials. To meet this challenge the industry must embrace fresh and innovative approach to partnering and contracting at all levels of the project ecosystem. We will take a comprehensive look at the importance of partnerships, innovative contracting strategies and tackling risk mitigation and cost estimation in an age of inflation, competition and nascent technologies.
4
Project Design & Execution
The low margin environment within which Hydrogen and it's derivative projects will be operating requires a laser focus on the assessment, selection and advancement of key technologies enabling the transition to blue and green fuels. Our expert-led agenda will feature a technology and supply chain update, showcase the latest advancements of modularization within the industry and ultimately provide you with building blocks to design a bankable facility.
5
Workforce Development
The development of a world class low and zero emission project hub on the Gulf Coast brings with it countless new job opportunities and the momentum to create a more diverse and inclusive workforce in the energy sector. However, the increased requirement for workers from other energy sectors, such as offshore wind, solar, and natural gas, is creating competition for talent and increasing labor costs. Alongside a comprehensive overview of craft labor on the Gulf Coast, we will review how project developers can upskill and enable the next generation of workers whilst making the industry more accessible.
Supporting the Development of the Next Generation of ET Professionals
We're committed to supporting the next generation of zero & low emission engineers and project / construction professionals. Each year a portion of the profits from the event are donated to local colleges and universities aimed at supporting scholarships for students focussed on careers in the LNG industry. This year we were proud to support the great teams at SOWELA, Nunez Community College, Lamar State College Port Arthur and McNeese University by donating $14,000 between the institutions
We'd welcome you to click on their logos below for more information on their great work and how you and your company can get involved as well.
